ABOUT THE PROJECT
Art opens and connects our mind. Languages can widen our cultural borders.
“IN” wants to use the potential of both to reach a deep responsibilization of the participants.
All the activities, such as workshops, team-building activities, simulation exercises and discussions, will focus on theatre, art and linguistic research , and will aim at stimulating the intercultural dialogue, improve the communication skills and, consequently, the employability of the participants. Participants will deal with the concept of interculture considering many of its different aspects: it will be seen, first of all, as a discovery of our origins , as a discovery of the differences, but also of the similarities with the other cultures, in order to find a common ground among these communities, all living in areas with a strong linguistic and / or cultural minority.
At the end of the project the participants will organize a play based on their own ideas and will compile a dictionary with all the expressions and idioms of their different languages, that they collected during the exchange.
