ABOUT THE PROJECT

This seminar is the fifth activity of the 3 year project. It will be organized by Student Science Academy “Rebus” in Izmir, Turkey. There will be 20 students in total from North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey.

The aim of this project is to associate the student’s community to the legislative process and to the process of taking strategical decisions in relation to the development of the European legislation.

Our goal for this Lecture/Training Event № 5 is to offer the students from North Macedonia, Turkey and Bulgaria an in-depth look at the functioning of the European legal system – and the main theme of the seminar is “European Union legislative procedure“.

The main focus of the lectures is going to be the function of the EU in its capacity as a derivative of international law and as an amalgamation of national legal traditions and European Union law. We hope that at the end the students will be fully equipped not only to envision a truly European legal order but also from part of its professional or academic network. Moreover, we hope that our lectures will grant the volunteers the opportunity to develop critical skills and valuable professional experience that will prepare them for a specific studies after that.
