There are plenty of activities coming this end of the year! Because the temperatures are getting lower and the days are gloomier, CID invites everybody to get involved in some interesting and energizing activities.
This is what will happen during the next weeks in Kumanovo:
The CID Volunteer Club is meeting every Saturday at 1 PM (13:00) in the CID office. Young people have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of warm coffee/tea while chatting with the international volunteers, participating in trainings, watching movies, finding out about sending opportunities, making friends and learning about how to bring more joy into their lives by creating and implementing their own projects. CID is always welcoming new members who are interested in joining the Volunteer Club.
November 9: International Day Against Fascism and Antisemitism – we commemorate the victims of fascism and antisemitism by holding a movie screening at the CID office. The movie – A People Uncounted – tells the story of the genocide of Roma people during World War II, a story that few have heard. It will be followed by a discussion on the topic, in the usual warm and relaxed atmosphere of the CID office.

In order to prepare for the Human Rights Day, which is on December 10, several activities are planned: young people are invited to take part in two trainings related to Peace Building and No Hate Speech, which will take place at the beginning of December, under the No Hate Speech Campaign in Macedonia.
For those who are interested in learning a new language, Matthieu, our French volunteer, is holding French lessons every week in the CID office. The German lessons are coming soon, follow our Facebook Page for more details.
The office is also open for those who are interested in sending opportunities – joining youth exchanges, training courses or volunteering for up to 12 months in an NGO in a foreign country. CID is more than willing to please their followers with delicious trats and interesting opportunities!
