About the Youth Exchange
The Youth Exchange “One Land for every taste” will last 11 days and will involve 26 youngsters coming from Italy, Bulgaria, Spain, Serbia and Macedonia. The project aims at creating positive relations among youngsters coming from various disadvantaged backgrounds and at promoting social integration and inclusion by means of non formal education and intercultural activities. The project will take place in an educational farm, aiming to increase individual and community awareness towards sustainable lifestyle, in Catania (South of Italy), combining social inclusion with promoting and experiencing sustainable development. Besides giving voice to disadvantage youngsters, the project aims at giving them relevant competences and knowledge, in order to take a lead and make a difference in the environmental challenges of our European societies. Moreover, the project intends to foster European awareness and intercultural exchange among the participants and the local community.
During the whole project, several activities related to empowerment and enforcing of resilience capabilities through a creative observation of nature will be developed. These activities will involve the youth deeply, so to make them more aware of the importance of environmental sustainability, promoting socialization, intercultural inclusion and active citizenship as a tool for social development.
What will you do?
Workshops, walking in the nature, games, visits to the city, role playing, cooking, parties, fun activities, intercultural evenings, and much more!

- Able to attend the entire duration of the exchange
