Our project will take place by the the beautiful surroundings of Phokai, Izmir involving 7 different countries and 42 participants. During the youth exchange the participants will get detailed information about the currently used and alternative energy resources. They will be able to compare the usage and effects of them on the nature. The participants will learn mutually, mature their ideas and lead the future projects.

This youth exchange is based on cooperation, solidarity, active participation, reflection of the needs and interests and contribution of individual improvement. The emphasis on tolerance will be supported by the cultural factors. The young participants will have to be willing to have social responsibility both in themselves and the other participants, ensuring good and tolerant environment. 

In our project, non-formal education methods and techniques will be used such as workshop-creative drama-outdoor activities etc. Our project will give place to creativity and skills. This will provide the participants to discover themselves and to find out what they are able to do. The young participants will be able to show and discover their skills and abilities in a creative way.

Our aim in this project is to convey the results of the project to a large population and to create awareness about the subject.

 

Profile of participants:

  • 18 – 30 years old
  • Interested in the topic of the project
  • Willing to participate in all the activities of the project
  • Able to work in English
  • Willing to share their acquired knowledge with members of CID after their return

Financial aspects of the project: 

  • Food and accommodation will be 100% covered by the organizers. 
  • Travel costs will be covered up to 170 EUR.
    Participants will be reimbursed after providing the organizers with all original tickets, boarding passes and invoices.
  • Participation fee: 20 EUR (payable to the organizers)
  • Sending fee: 500 MKD (payable to CID for confirmation)
