Short description: The project ‘NETworking for Efficient and Sustainable Civil Society across the Border’ (NetWESS) aims to promote active networking and cooperation among the existing civil society organizations in the cross border region between Macedonia and Bulgaria. The project is implemented in the period of April 2013-April2014 and with its activities will contribute to the strengthening of correlations and cooperation between different actors on both sides of the border, serving as a backbone to cross-border initiatives in the NGO sector, increasing social cooperation growth in the region.
The project main activities are research on the capacity of the CSO sector in the region; joint website as framework for cross-border networking and cooperation on a regular basis; and few joint initiatives such as campaigns and training measures.
The project is realized in collaboration between European Institute from Bulgaria as leading partner and Center for Intercultural Dilogue as project partner. The project is implemented in the framework of the IPA Cross Border Programme Bulgaria-Macedonia (CCI Number: 2007CB16IPO007), under the second call.
