Hi! I’m Elena, and I’m 15 years old high school student from Kumanovo, Macedonia.
Last summer I took part in the Media and journalism program of Multi Kulti Youth Center. It was my first time working in a multiethnic group but it was one of the best experiences I ever had. I had a lot of fun there by playing educational games and I learned a lot about the topic of the program (social media and journalism), but it also helped me to learn how to work with a group of people who have only few things in common. So few months later I grabbed the opportunity to be a part of another program of the Multi Kulti Youth Center – Youth Activism.
This experience helped me a lot to upgrade my skills for working in a multiethnic group and it thought me how to make an action and help my idea come true.
At the moment it’s my pleasure to be a part of the group who is working on the program of the first multiethnic online youth radio in our country. I enjoyed all of this experiences and I’m looking forward all of the similar opportunities I will have in the future.
