Culture is important in every discipline of life. Because of globalization and loosening the borders, because of the internet and other media, young people do not know their culture; more precisely they do not know their own legends or myths which are an important part of their history.
The participants will meet in Zamość to talk about the situation and see some potential problems.
Art Avanti is an ideal place because of its previous work in the field of art and theatre.
The participants are young people that are interested in varied forms of art as well as those that want to learn more about culture both their own as foreign ones.
They will also be people who want to work as youth workers, which can use training in the details of public speaking. The two first days of the meeting will revolve around international games and exercises, which purpose will be to help shape the participants into a team.
They will discuss the topic of stories, more precisely what they are, what characterizes them, what are they used for. The participants will work on writing their own legends as well as they will have a chance to tell some of the legends from their own countries.
The last two days will serve to get to know the local culture and discovering how stories and legends are integrated into it. We will present the potential of Erasmus+ to the local population. During the trips through the region the participants will learn about the culture of Lubelszczyzna region.
Profile of participants:
- Above 18
- Interested in topic
- Willing to share the experience with the people from CID
- Willing to participate in all activities during the training course
- Ability to work in English
Financial aspects of the project:
- Food, accommodation will be covered 100%.
- Travel costs will be covered up to 275 EUR.
Reimbursement will be done after receiving all original boarding passes, tickets and invoices. - Participation fee: NONE
