SCI Exchange Evaluation Meeting (EEM) was organized from 16-20 October in Edinburg, Scotland, by IVS a British branch of Service Civil International (SCI). The EEM is an annual event for evaluation of the workcamp season and exchange activities implemented within the framework of SCI, where CID is partner.

The meeting evaluated the collaboration among the SCI branches during the work camp season and also provided space for planning activities for the upcoming year, as well as contributed in improving the impact and quality of the activities to be organized. SCI workcamps are a great opportunity for young people, and together with CID, young people can go and explore this experience by them self. CID yearly sends over 30 volunteers to workcamps across Europe.

During the training we talked a lot about the work camps that were realized and we talked about our future plans. The training was a great experience for me because I had the chance to meet a lot of people from different countries and also make plans for future projects, in which young people from Macedonia can participate.

This event was funded by the European Union under the Youth in Action scheme. The meeting was very productive professionally and personally. The organizers provided us with great local support and we had the chance to explore Edinburg.
