ABOUT THE PROJECT
The seminar is the main activity of the project “Share, Experience, Get Inspired! – Enjoy the diversity of non-formal learning tools” aiming at increasing the capacity of 12 European organisations by supporting the professional development and enhancement of the competences of their youth workers in fostering creativity, participation, sharing, cooperation, mutual learning and innovation in the field of non-formal learning. It will gather 34 participants – youth workers, trainers, activists and educators from 12 European countries – Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey.
With this seminar, we intend to provide you – youth workers, trainers, activists, educators – with the opportunity to meet, share tools, learn from one another, establish friendship for future cooperation, while creating a suitable environment for educational innovation, experimenting and improving new tools and methods.
We believe that the seminar will increase your self-confidence, make your work more efficient by developing your professional competences in the non-formal learning field and also enhance your collaboration networks.
The working methods used will be highly participatory and will be based on the principles of adult learning, creating a stress-free and motivating environment where the human brain has a full capacity to learn. An important part and special focus will be dedicated to the workshops run by the participants. All the methods will encourage active participation, creativity, initiative, and responsibility for one’s own learning process.
