During 15-18 May, there was held an conference “Shared visions 2012” in Ohrid, Macedonia, organized by the “IRZ- Institution for development of the community”. CID was represented by totally 4 representative. Aims of the conference were to give the young people an opportunity to speak and debate about multi ethnical community, to develop multi ethnical dialogue between participants and to develop youth activism. All three are very important for Macedonia.
This time all participants were only from Macedonia and working language was also Macedonian.
Through out the day there were organized various presentations and debates between participants. Everyone had a chance to share their experience with other ethnical groups within different organizations.
“This conference was a great experience for me because I learnt a lot of new things that I can use in my organization and town. It also provided a lot of information about youth activism in our country. I really hope that I will work with this group again,” shared one of the participants Monika from Kumanovo.
