11th of October, Bujrum Center for Rural Development, organised a local event for promotion of cycling and healthy behaviour. “Masterly demonstration of cycling” was the event that gathered over 30 sportsman/woman and bikers from Macedonia and Bulgaria to participate in the cycling demonstration and biker race. The event was organised in line with the national holiday on the 11th of October in collaboration with the local sports associations.
The event gathered many youngsters and citizens, and volunteers of Bujrum Center who also assisted in promotion of the alternative and healthy life style
The event is part of the project SUN “Savouring Unique Nature – Bicycle-tourism in support of nature” that aims to improve the quality of life in the cross border region of Bulgaria and Macedonia by creating opportunities for sports, recreation and tourism and sustainable management of environmental protection. It is implemented within the Instrument for Pre-accession of the European Union the cross-border cooperation programme between Macedonia and Bulgaria.
