Educational evaluation_July 2012From June 20th – 27th Streets Festival Association from Kumanovo hosted an international training course called “Educational evaluation in youth work” The training took place in Probishtip, Macedonia  and gathered participants from Kosovo, United Kingdom, Romania and Macedonia.

The aim of the project was to contribute in developing the quality of support systems for youth activists and the capabilities of civil society organization in the youth field.

The project provided participants with tools and competences to plan, conduct and interpret qualitative educational evaluation. It helps in developing competences of youth workers and project promoters to conduct relevant evaluation and to be able to give feedback to the local, national and European institutions which support the quality of policy making for youth.

The programme of the training was in the framework of non-formal education, and participants had the opportunity to experience different tools for evaluation and to see the result from them.

After the training the participants said that the methods that were used during the training and the new tools that they used, were very useful for them and for their work back home.
