Dates of the project: July 2013 – May 2014
Financed and Supported by: National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility – www.na.org.mk, Leonardo da Vinci programme of the EU
Short description: CID has opened a Leonardo da Vinci programme office within the youth center MultiКулти in order to provide internship opportunities for young unemployed people. The project “EU work experience to increase employability” has as objective through the mobility action to create a local impact on the labor market in Kumanovo. Within the project several beneficiaries have a practical work experience abroad. These people are from the professional categories where most unemployed people come from (finished social sciences – law, marketing, economy or technological engineering). This project supports 6 participants in further training activities in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications in various areas of their work. In this way with this practical work experience we will facilitate the further development of the interns.
The project involves hosting partners from Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Slovenia and a sending partner from Macedonia coordinating the project (CID).
Within the project Aleksandra Cvetkovska and Sanja Mihajlovska are part of the Global Love youth Trust in Cardiff working on daily youth work programmes and issues. Zlata Bojadzieva had the chance for 3 months to work with the Chamber of Agriculture of Kranj. Also Kristina Angelovska and Brankica Zatarakoska are part of the team of the Young European Federalists in Brussels. Finally Sonja Jovanovska will be for 6 months at the UNITED for Intercultural Action office in Amsterdam.
