Information about the project:  No Hate Week Budapest

It is a multilateral youth exchange involving 8 countries (Armenia, Cyprus, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, FYO Macedonia, Poland and Turkey) which takes place in Budapest between 26th April and 4th May 2014.  It aims to combat racism and discrimination, as expressed online as hate speech, by mobilizing young people to recognise and act against such human rights violations. The project gathers 40 young people to discuss the phenomenon of hate speech online with examples from domestic and European level; to outline activity plans in order to combat against it, share the best practice in the field (especially the work of online activists) and take proper actions in Budapest jointly with Hungarian youngsters.
