Information about the project:
The project named ,,If you help others you help yourself best” , settled in Nitra, Republic of Slovakia has prepared long-termed EVS exchange with volunteer coming from Macedonia in duration of 10 months. This project will encourage these people to develop their social and creative skills cooperating and guiding by YMCA team of workers and Slovak volunteers in our YMCA centre for children and young people. These two volunteers will help and contribute with schooling tutoring , assisting in the program with kids, planning, preparing and organizing sport activities. They are going to be include in a various creative workshops in the same YMCA centre, but also in public activities that are going to be implemented and organized locally in the town Nitra. These long-termed volunteers are going to contribute with their skills and abilities in wider spectrum of activities in Nitra, cooperating with local schools, with the local centre for people with disabilities, helping and working with groups of kids in the emergency housing centre for families with children. Also, they will promote and present the Youth in Action program in schools in Nitra in order young people to get closer to the activities and opportunities that this program is offering.
Accommodation and food:
Accommodation is provided by the local organization. The volunteer will have his/her own room, and will share other rooms. Each volunteer is provided by monthly allowance for food and other costs.

- Age above 18
- Able to work in English
- Able to attend the entire duration of the EVS
