We are happy to introduce four new members to the CID family: Ines, Fisnik, Antonio and David. They will work on different projects and contribute to the overall growth of the organisation. Curious to know who they are and what there role in CID will be? Read below:
Ines Fetterley: ”I am 23 years old and I am from Kumanovo. I finished high school and studied college in the USA. While there I was involved in the student council, as well as the country organizations in the international community. The work we did at the University, made me realize how much I enjoy youth work, and how enriching the whole experience is. When I came back to Macedonia, after taking some time off, I wanted to get back into working with youngsters, to broaden my horizons, and CID was the place to go. I had heard from my peers that CID is like one big family and that it’s always open to new volunteers, so I decided to try my luck. Fortunately for me, they took me in arms wide open and immediately gave me a possibility to get myself back to working. I started as a volunteer, worked on a couple different projects, and assisted anyone that needed help at times. Once a position in my field was opened, I applied and now I am starting as one of the youth workers at the local youth center MultiKulti, and I am super excited to embark on this new journey.”
Fisnik Jakupi: ”I graduated and specialized in Security sciences, and am currently doing my Master studies in the same field. I have been actively involved in the civil sector since 2006. I used to work as a volunteer, facilitator, youth worker and as a Project Officer in CID, and I was a board member in YDC – Youth Development Center. The dynamic, numerous activities and positive atmosphere in CID motivated me to be part of it. As a project officer I’ll be engaged with the MultiKulti youth center managed by CID and will be responsible for coordinating the project at all stages from planning to implementation and also coordinating all logistics and technical aspects for the project.”
Antonio Danilovski: ”I have been working in the NGO sector for more than 10 years. Until now I
worked on projects that implemented research and coordination of groups of high school students, especially with reference to the school organizing and participation. I was also part of the team that was doing research conducted by the Youth Education Forum.
I graduated from the Faculty of Economics, General Economics department at the “University of Cyril and Methodius in Skopje”, and also Financial Management of the private university “Integrated Business Faculty”. One of the greatest achievements has been the article “External influences on the Macedonian Stock Exchange”, written with several professors from the Faculty of Economics. Another great achievement is the World Certificate For Volunteering And Events Organizing, also I worked as coordinator of the office in the Netherlands, supported by Swatch Group.
I currently live in Skopje, but work in CID Kumanovo as a project coordinator of the project “CU TENDA” – STORIES, IMAGES AND SOUNDS ON THE MOVE [Living memory of southeastern Europe], who is working on raising the awareness of young people for the Vlach culture in Macedonia.
David Aleksovski: ”I am 26 years old, from Kumanovo.
I graduated from the Financial Management Department on the Faculty for Economics in Skopje and did my Masters in Monetary Economy, Finance and Banking at the same faculty. The title of my master thesis was “Methodological and application aspects of fiscal accounts and the case of the R.Macedonia”. This scientific work was reviewed by commission of prominent professors and I am proud of it.
During my studies and after them I went on 3 internships. Two of them were in banks. The first one was in Central Cooperative Bank (the branch of Kumanovo) in the credit cards department and the second was a 3-month internship in the Sparkasse Bank in Skopje in the department for micro-crediting.
One month ago I had the opportunity to join CID which is a really successful and respected NGO on national level. I work in CID as a financial assistant on the various projects that the organization is implementing. Also I am logistic support to the project managers. It is a pleasure for me to work with young, talented and creative people who already have so much domestic and international experience in youth work and projects. These things were my main motivation to apply for a job position in CID.
My hobbies are watching sports, especially football and basketball. I am fan of Roma and Atletico Madrid. In my free time I like to play piano, read books, ride the bicycle and drink coffee or beer with my friends. Also I love rock music my favorite band is Lynyrd Skynyrd.
