ABOUT THE PROJECT

Young Europeans have multiple options for involvement in a growing number of organizations, foundations(on local, national or international level) as volunteers, working with various methods, with different roles in projects, participating in workshops/trainings on diverse social topics, etc. All these experiences offer multiply occasions+potential for competencies development through the learning process- in order for such leanings to happen at a high level is important for young people to be guided through proper experiential learning cycles (via all phases) to the level when they will be capable to self-guide themselves. Based on years of experience in youth field, project team identified as crucial need to increase the level of quality and impact on young people by upgrading the competencies of youth workers in experiential learning (which could be applied in educational field, as well in their projects and working with volunteers). Important topics as: intercultural, global, human rights education, theatre, street methods  and others for community interventions etc are relying on facilitating experiential learning process. Often the importance of this process if overseen or done superficially and many young people are losing lots of learning outcomes.

 

Main aim

The aim of this project is to increase the quality of youth work by equipping youth workers (coordinators, facilitators, mentors) with experiential learning competencies.

 

Objectives

  • To increase the knowledge level in experiential learning (theory, concepts, steps, philosophy);
  • To increase the practical facilitation skills in experiential learning cycle (in various settings-beyond workshop context);
  • To develop practical skills in designing and implementing experiential learning activities

 

 

PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS:
  • Age above 18
  • Able to work in English
  • Are committed to fully participate in the training
  • Willing to share their experience with CID

 

 

ACCOMMODATION and FINANCES:
 All costs related to accommodation and food will be covered by the hosting organization.

 Travel costs will be covered up to 180 EUR.

Reimbursement will be done after receiving all original documents.

 

Participation fee: 5 EUR (payable in Euros, Pounds or Serbian Dinar.)

Sending fee: 500 MKD
