ABOUT THE PROJECT
This seminar is a part of the long-term project Youth Work Recognition with Self-Assessment and Accreditation. The project’s main aim is to strengthen the recognition of youth workers competences and assessment of the quality of youth work providers, by capacity building of youth workers and evaluators based on the principle of self-assessment and peer-assessment.
Until now within this project two training courses and a study visit has been organized. During this activities participants developed some specific recognition tools for youth work providers (quality label tools) and for youth workers (recognition portfolios) as examples of non-formality in the recognition of youth work.
The aim of this seminar is to provide an overview of the process, to try the recognition tools and to draw conclusions related to them developed by the project and their applicability in youth work and beyond.
PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS:
- Youth workers
- Age above 18
- Able to work in English
- Are committed to fully participate in the seminar
- Willing to exchange good practices of youth work recognition with CID
ACCOMMODATION and FINANCES:
All food and accommodation costs during the seminar are covered.
Travel costs will be cover up to 275 EUR and visa costs up to 100 EUR. Reimbursement will be done after receiving all the original tickets.
