During a period of 5 days, from the 23rd until the 28th of January, we participated in a training course in Vilnius, Lithuania on the topic: Mentor‘s lab. The training had the aim to develop the competences of the EVS mentors in order to better communicate with the EVS volunteers, help them adapt to the new environment and learn how to avoid and if needed solve any conflict. The hard work and dedication of the organizers and trainers, and the incredibly passionate and diverse group of participants made this experience unforgettable. We’re currently doing our best to disseminate what we have learnt and to implement this knowledge in our everyday youth work.
