ABOUT THE PROJECT
The main objective of the exchange is for young people to get familiar with the critical view of social media. They will learn about ways how can avoid the pitfalls of social media to increase their privacy on the Internet and use social media for their own benefit – for both personal and professional use.
This exchange is made up of three parts: the traps of social media, online privacy, and influence on our behaviour. One of the objectives of the exchange is raising awareness of the problem among young people who are not part of the exchange. Therefore, the progress at the exchange and the issues of social media will be shared via daily blog. In addition, the participants will also make a short film about the exchange, which will be shared via social networks.
PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS:
- age 15-23
- an active member of a youth organisation
- be interested in the topic
- be ready for active participation and contribution
- able to work and discuss in English
- willing to share their experience with CID
ACCOMMODATION and FINANCES:
All costs related to accommodation and food will be covered by the hosting organization.
Travel costs will be covered up to 275 EUR. The travel costs will be reimbursed according to E+ rules. It will happen upon collecting all tickets and invoices, calculating all costs.
Participation fee: 50 EUR
*The fee covers activities that will provide additional value to youth exchange and could not be covered by the National Agency.
