ABOUT THE PROJECT

The main aim of this training course is to develop youth workers’ / participants’ competences in sustainable and holistic work (management, supervising and mentoring) with volunteers that are engaged within our activities with marginalised groups, thus improving volunteering for inclusion at local and national levels in the countries involved.
 
Objectives:
 Exchange realities and practices from different countries on insights and perceptions about youth work and volunteering programmes with marginalised groups
 Motivate participants to and empower them for active promotion of combating social exclusion in their projects
 To provide opportunity to improve skills and knowledge on step-by-step development and implementing of the volunteering programmes for inclusion within our organisations
 To empower participants to act as effective volunteer managers, supervisors and mentors of the volunteers working with marginalised groups, and for the benefit of youngsters our beneficiaries and the local communities
 Introducing the E+-YiA, its connection with volunteering in general and the possibilities it can offer through different projects to our volunteers / beneficiaries
 Developing new projects and future European level cooperation among partners with the aim to raise quality of volunteers’ satisfaction and progress, volunteer programmes and volunteer management in our organisations.
 
The language of the training course will be English.
 
 

PARTICIPANT PROFILE:
  • Aged 18 and above
  • To be active youth workers / leaders who are willing to apply and multiply the knowledge received on this training course
  • Willing to improve and promote volunteering for inclusion in their communities
  • Able to work well in English
  • Willing to share the new knowledge with the members of CID once he/she returns
  • Able to attend the entire duration of the course

 
 
ACCOMMODATION and FINANCES:
All costs related to accommodation and food (3 meals and 2 coffee breaks per day) will be covered by the hosting organization.
Travel costs will be reimbursed only for the cheapest way of transport and preferably for the return tickets. Travel expenses are covered by the organizers 100% up to 240 EUR (for all the original tickets and ways of travel that are plane, bus, train or ferry, NOT taxi and NOT car). The travel reimbursement will be done by bank transfers after you return home and send us the ORIGINAL boarding passes and tickets (and after you submit/send us the filled in evaluation forms of the training course).
