The Service Volontaire International (SVI) is a Belgian-French-Vietnamese pluralist, apolitical, non-profit organisation with no religious affiliation which was founded by the volunteers and for the volunteers

SVI aims to encourage the youths to be active in the society they live in through our local and international activities. They help them to become citizens of the world who are active, critical and responsible as well as ethically and socially aware.

 

Here are some of their volunteering opportunities they offer:

 

  • Inc’Rock: 30/04 – 08/05

The biggest festival in the Brabant Wallon with more than 12.000 festival-goers!

 

  • Couleur Café: 18/06 – 02/07

The most multicultural festival of Brussels. The 29th edition of Couleur Café will be held from the 29th of June till the 1st of July 2018, yet again in the wonderful Osseghemparc, next to the Atomium, one of the symbolic spots of Brussels.

 

  • Dour: 10 – 16/07

Five days, more than 200 artists and 3 scenes; Dour Festival is one of the most famous in Europe, where you can listen to Rock, Rap, Metal, Pop, Electro, Drum’n’bass, Punk…

 

  • Esperanzah!: 29/07 – 11/08

A world music festival with an eclectic lineup. Esperanzah! makes a difference with its unique philosophy; its aim is to pass on values of tolerance, respect, equality and discovery.

 

  • Solidarity project: 17 – 28/08

Combine two festivals in one: La fête des Solidarités, as you can tell from its name, celebrates solidarity. Come discover Belgian, French and international music, the children’s city, the solidarity village and much more! Chassepierre is an international street arts festival . Its 45th edition will take place on the 25th and 26th of August.
