Description: BalCAN Change is an 8-month project that aims to contribute to the reconciliation process in the Balkan region by building the capacity of young people to engage in peacebuilding activities and to advocate for intercultural dialogue in their own communities. The Youth Academy ”Peace Ambassadors” is the first activity of the project, to be held in Ohrid, Macedonia, between 26-30 September 2018, which will gather 32 youngsters from Balkan 6 for a training on peacebuilding, advocacy and intercultural learning.

Activities:

  1. Youth Academy ”Peace Ambassadors” – 5 day training course on peacebuilding and advocacy
  2. Local Action plans – implementing a local action plan that promotes peace and reconciliation and mainstreams youth engagement;
  3. Caravan 4 Peace – a travelling caravan that will display the results of the 4 local action plans in each hosting city involved in the project;
  4. Evaluation meeting – 3 day meeting with all participants of the project to evaluate the impact of the activities organised by them.
