Between the 15th and 17th of December, the staff of Center for Intercultural Dialogue organized and attended a training course that offered capacity building on project writing and organizing skills. The training took place in Kratovo and aimed to advance our professional development and knowledge of the current staff members of the organisation and to inspire them to come up with new project ideas. The programme focused on project management, from preparation to implementation, communication with stakeholders and beneficiaries, decision-making when it comes to work-related tasks, organizing events, budget and finances, and of course a strategic planning for the annual programme of MultiКулти. The last day of the training was dedicated to brainstorming on new ideas for projects and activities to be developed in the youth center in the upcoming year. We did not forget to have fun, and we used our free nights to hang out and play teambuilding games.
Arta Abduli, one of the team members, believes that the training was beneficial for the group:
The staff training was quite useful for me. Some things were familiar to me but there were so many new things that I learned from this training such as finances, project writing etc. We had the chance to brainstorm about new ideas, to reflect on our work and also to get to know each other more. I will keep this staff training as a good memory as a CID member.
So stay tuned… we have a lot more to offer in the upcoming year!
