ABOUT THE PROJECT

“Digital competences in NFE” is going to be a training course organized in Osterholz-Scharmbeck in Germany which will include 36 young workers from 12 different countries: Romania, Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey, North Macedonia, Greece, Spain, Poland, Croatia, Serbia, Lithuania and Germany.

Digital technologies and social media play important role in our society. A research made about this topic “A decade of digital dependency” shows that average adults spend more than 24 hours per week online, while one fifth of adults spends more than 40 hours per week on internet. Social media became most influential media of the 21st century. The social media platforms are most important communication tools used by all actors in the society (business community, civil society organizations, political parties etc.). Youth workers are not an exception.

Problem: Youth workers do not possess digital competences and they don’t know how to know how to use and transfer their digital competences while working with young people.

Aim: Improve youth workers digital competence and equip them with the tools that will improve their work with young people.

Project objectives:
One of the important project objectives is to contribute to improved quality of work and increased visibility of the youth associations.
Other objective of the project is to equip group of youth workers with practical knowledge and skills on how effectively to use their digital competences in increasing the visibility of the work of youth associations; how effectively to use digital competences for raising awareness (campaigning) on issues of concern for the young people; and how to effectively use digital competences for increasing visibility and dissemination of the results of projects supported by the Erasmus+ programme.
