We have started with our networking events that are envisaged within the project “(Local) Youth Participation Matters”. On 11.03.2022 we had two networking events in two of our target municipalities i.e. in Gostivar in the YCC Gostivar and in Mavrovo and Rostushe in the Hall of culture.
As part of these events, were invited the representatives from all of the relevant stakeholders within the communities that encompass the Mayors, City Council representatives, representatives from the municipalities, representatives from the youth party wings and the young people from the local CSOs and other informal groups.
The guests were informed about the general info of the project, the activities and processes that will be underwent during the project as well as the possible ways of their engagement within these activities. In both events we had the speakers from the municipality who expressed their openness and the will for cooperation, as well as the representatives from the local CSOs partners who informed the attendees that they will be on their disposal for any inquires for the project engagement.
In Mavrovo and Rostushe, the attendees were greeted by the Mayor Medat Kurtovski, the project coordinator Tamara Petkovska and the local CSO partner Art Spahiu.
In Gostivar, the attendees were greeted by the President of the City Council Valbon Limani, the project coordinator Tamara Petkovska and the local CSO partner Elton Jashari.
