We have started the trainings envisaged within the project “(Local) Youth Participation Matters”. The First one was held in Berovo in the time frame from 27.03.2022 – 31.03.2022.

More than 30 young enthusiasts and active volunteers within their communities joined the training activities and enhanced their knowledge on the topics such as: youth work, multiculturalism, facilitation, human rights, bilingual approach of learning etc. They have learned about these topics through the methods of non-formal learning by working in plenary and in groups.

The participants were diverse in gender, ethnicity, culture, religion etc. and were coming from 8 different municipalities i.e. Kumanovo, Lipkovo, Tetovo, Tearce, Gostivar, Mavrovo and Rostushe, Struga and Chair.

Besides the learning part, they had enough free time to play broad games and deepen their new friendships that is a step further for common future activities.

After the training, the participants will do the follow up activities by the supervision of the mentors in the local communities.

*These training activities are part of the project “(Local) Youth Participation Matters” that is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in RNM
