The first Focus Group for the project Up2You(th)! was organized just a few days ago, on the 21st of October, and it gathered 13 youngsters from Kumanovo, Lipkovo and Staro Nagoricane.

The Focus Group intentions were to identify the needs and obstacles of youth engagement and participation on the local level which were based on the Survey that was conducted throughout this year.

In the focus group we had the chance to hear what motivates young people to be active in the life of the community, what are the main reasons of young people not participating in the activities of our community, and the most important issues that young people in your community/region have.

A report will be created after the 2nd Focus Group of the project and based on it Local Workshops will be created for our youngsters of Kumanovo.

Center for Intercultural Dialogue (CID), together with Armenian Progressive Youth (APY) and Youthfully Yours (YY) are partners in this KA2 project called Up2You(th)!
The project aims at promoting youth engagement and active citizenship through exchange of best practices and equipping youth workers and educators with capacity, tools and methods to work effectively with individual youngsters and groups of young people not active on a local level.
