During this period, a training on Democracy, Youth Participation and Civic Engagement took place simultaneously in Struga. The participants were from local NGOs and youth political party wings.

During the training, the participants had the opportunity to explore into different topics that directly impact their communities. These topics encompass issues related to their local society, aiming to empower them to create positive changes. The training also involves collaborative efforts to develop action plans that can lead to a better living environment in their communities.

Upon completing the training, the participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to actively engage in their municipalities. They will have the opportunity to work on relevant topics and contribute to various areas of policy and decision-making.

The aim of the project is to promote and facilitate the involvement of young people in policy and decision-making processes. This is achieved through advocacy and civic activism, focusing on key areas such as social cohesion, human rights, multiculturalism and democracy. Importantly, this initiative is not limited to the local level but also extends to the national level.

The project is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in RNM.
