The training, which took place this month, was an opportunity for young individuals to gain knowledge, skills, and inspiration in the domains of democracy and civil participation, youth activism, and action plan creation. Beyond simply theoretical learning, the participants had the chance to put their ideas into action and, upon completing the training, are now prepared to actively implement their initiatives. Representatives from youth party wings, together with other youth coming from NGOs had the opportunity to be part of the training.
One of the primary objectives of this project is to foster greater involvement and promote the participation of young people in policy and decision-making processes. This is to be achieved through advocacy and civic activism, with a focus on essential themes like social cohesion, human rights, multiculturalism, and democracy. This program transcends the boundaries of mere theory and seeks to create real-world change at both the local and national levels.
By empowering these young minds with the tools to engage effectively in the democratic process, we pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future. They are the driving force behind the change we seek in society, and their passion and commitment to the values of democracy, human rights, and multiculturalism are the sparks that will ignite positive transformation.
Stay tuned for more exciting developments as this project continues to make a positive difference in our community.
The project is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in RNM.
