We are pleased to announce that we held the first transnational partners meeting for the Skip the Barriers of International Mobility (SBIM) project, bringing together all partner organisations to kick off our work together.

The SBIM project — co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme — aims to support young people from diverse and under-represented backgrounds to access and engage in international mobility opportunities.

During the meeting, partners discussed the project’s main goals:

  • Equipping youth workers with tailored tools and skills so they can raise awareness about international mobility opportunities.

  • Improving how mobility opportunities are communicated and promoted.

  • Enhancing access to information for young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, and supporting them through the mobility pathway.

We also began mapping out our next steps: conducting focus groups with youth workers, designing an awareness-raising toolkit, and developing an interactive digital tool to guide young people toward mobility opportunities.

This first meeting set a strong foundation, launching the process of creating concrete resources to make international mobility more inclusive and accessible for all.
