Over the past months, CID has successfully organized a series of transformative weekend workshops aimed at empowering young people with essential skills, knowledge, and perspectives to become active and engaged citizens. Through interactive sessions, expert guidance, and hands-on learning experiences, participants explored key topics that are vital for personal and social development.

From understanding the role of a citizen in a democratic society to developing leadership skills and enhancing communication abilities, each workshop provided a unique learning opportunity. The sessions on public speaking and body language equipped participants with the confidence to express themselves effectively, while discussions on intercultural awareness fostered a deeper understanding of diversity and inclusion. Conflict resolution workshops enabled young people to navigate challenges in teamwork, and media literacy sessions strengthened their ability to critically assess information in an age of digital complexity.

What set these workshops apart was not only the quality of the content but also the sense of community and collaboration they fostered. Young people from diverse backgrounds came together, shared their experiences, and engaged in meaningful discussions, reinforcing the values of respect, dialogue, and active participation. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, with participants expressing how these experiences broadened their perspectives and provided them with practical tools they could apply in their daily lives.

By creating a space where young people could learn, exchange ideas, and develop essential skills, CID has reaffirmed its commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders and changemakers. The success of these workshops is a testament to the power of non-formal education in shaping a more informed, engaged, and resilient youth community.
