Objectives

O1: Equip youth workers with the knowledge and tools to promote digital citizenship among young people.

O2: Raise awareness of the importance of digital citizenship education in line with the European Year of DCE 2025.

O3: Foster cross-sector cooperation and exchange of best practices, supporting the establishment of DCE as a long-term priority beyond 2025.

O4: Support the transfer and scaling of the Digital Citizenship Week (celebrated annually around the International Day of Democracy) at the European level.
Participants’ profile
- This training course is designed for youth workers, educators, trainers, and youth leaders who are actively involved in non-formal education and youth engagement at the organizational level.
- Participants must be able to transfer tools and knowledge to their organizations and coordinate at least one local activity during Digital Citizenship Week.
- A good command of English and a commitment to follow-up dissemination are required.
- At least 18 years old.
Accommodation and finances:
All costs related to accommodation and food will be covered by the hosting organization.
Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 309 €.
