From 17th to 18th June, MultiКулти – Kumanovo Hub buzzed with energy as young people and civil society actors converged for a transformative two-day training session under the PRECYOUS project. This event, titled “Strengthening Youth and CSO Roles in Policy-Making,” marked a significant step towards empowering participants to actively shape local governance and policy decisions.
The training sessions were designed to equip attendees with essential skills and knowledge essential for effective engagement in public policy and advocacy. Through interactive workshops and role-playing exercises, participants delved into the intricacies of municipal governance and explored diverse advocacy strategies. From dissecting barriers to policy influence to simulating council meetings, every session aimed to cultivate a deeper understanding of how grassroots efforts can drive substantial community change.
