Center for Intercultural Dialogue is looking for trainers to facilitate 3 day thematic training that will be held in February 2026. Participants of the training are young leaders from Kumanovo, Lipkovo and Staro Nagoricane. There will be 20 participants in the training.

ABOUT THE TRAINING

CID is organizing a three-day thematic training as part of CID ACADEMY 2025/2026.

The training will build on a previous four-day training programme and a series of local workshops. Its purpose is to strengthen participants’ knowledge, skills and confidence to design and implement youth-led initiatives that contribute to a more inclusive, active and cohesive multiethnic community in Kumanovo.

The training programme should respond to the interests and needs identified by the participants throughout the project. While trainers are encouraged to contribute their own expertise and methodology, the programme is expected to cover topics related to intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, human rights, youth participation, community engagement, advocacy and project planning. Special attention should be given to supporting participants in transforming their ideas into realistic initiatives that they will implement in their local communities.

The training will be delivered bilingually in Macedonian and Albanian. Trainers should use participatory, non-formal education methods and create an inclusive learning environment that encourages cooperation between young people from different backgrounds. By the end of the training, participants are expected to have developed concrete plans for their youth initiatives and strengthened the competencies needed to implement them successfully.
